Have you ever asked yourself, how can I get reasonable child care? Where can I find after-school programs for teenagers? Who can I talk to about affordable housing? Are there programs that assist with job training/life skills? Growing up, I, like many from the same communities, have asked similar questions. I have learned throughout the years that much of the information regarding such programming and resources have not been made readily accessible. The wisdom to gain wealth, knowledge on how to invest, and ways in which one can build credit have also been hidden or lied about to the underserved and underprivileged. This sort of thing has discouraged an entire generation and has instilled fear and distrust in the hearts of those who just don’t know.
